I might possibly differ with the conventional way to determine the mouth opening.
Other forensic artists have told me that the opening is between the canines and bicuspids.
In portrait work I rarely find a person where the edges of the mouth don't align
vertically with the inside perimeters of the two irises. With a slight smile they align
with the pupils, and with large smiles they align with the outside perimeters. So I look
at the over all skull structure and decide accounting for my past observations. In this
case there is no difference. |
